Susan Spencer's Designer/Novelty
Introduction to Decoupage Each picture or card is made by using several copies of the same picture, which are layered one on top of the other using a silicone glue to give it a raised effect. These pictures are individually cut by hand using a craft knife and shaped, using a shaping tool, then are built up layer by layer to create a 3D effect picture. In Canada, Australia and the United States this is craft is known as Paper Tole. Introduction to Susan Spencer’s 3D Decoupage I am a very creative individual and enjoy creating these wonderful decoupage cards and pictures. I also enjoy designing and creating different cards for different people. If you have an idea of what you would like, I would be happy to come up with a design especially for you. Click here to see actual photographs of most of my cards, but I can also make cards of your loved ones, pets or possessions. Introduction to Iris Fold Iris folding is a technique of paper folding that originated in Holland using coloured papers. The folded strips of paper are layered in a spiral pattern called "iris" folding, as it resembles the iris of an eye or camera lens.
